Kites at the 70th Berlin Film Festival

The short film “The Kites”, written and directed by Seyyed Payam Hosseini, was selected for the K-14 generations section of the Berlinale Film Festival.

Berlinale first started in 1951 with the screening of Alfred Hitchcock’s film Rebecca.

The “K-14 Generations” section of children’s and youth cinema is one of the most important and popular sections of the Berlinale, which in its 70th year has selected the short film Kites from Iran in the section.

The Berlin Film Festival will be held from February 20th to March 1st in Berlin, Germany, with the presence of the director and some of the casting team of the film “The Kites”.

This film is a product of Priya Film Haghighat company, jointly produced by Seyyed Payam Hosseini and Mohsen Mohammadi Shasha.

The Berlin Film Festival (Internationale Filmfestspiele Berlin) or Berlinale, along with the Venice Film Festival and the Cannes Film Festival, is considered the most important European film event.

It is one of the most prestigious and oldest film festivals in the world and Europe, which is held every year in February for 10 days in Berlin, Germany.
